Job Summary
GEO is seeking an experienced and client-focused Project Manager to provide leadership for GEO’s national and international remediation projects. The ideal candidate will oversee each phase of their assigned project/s including, scheduling, preparation of reports, work plans and permits, compliance and risk mitigation, management of subcontractors and GEO team members, tracking budgets and expenditures, all while closely monitoring adherence to the project scope of work. Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversee GEO construction/installation crew members

  • Manage project subcontractors (if applicable)

  • Manage day-to-day site operations

​

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage projects, develop and expand GEO's environmental services/manufacturing division nationally and internationally

  • Work with Team Managers to scope, cost, plan, and execute remediation projects, with a focus on in-situ remedial technologies (C3 and GTR (Gas Thermal Remediation))

  • Prepare for work activities, i.e., plan field work, develop work plans, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients

  • Interpret geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from contaminated sites

  • Evaluate and assist in designing in-situ thermal remediation systems, including 
developing rationale and cost estimates

  • Complete work in the field, including starting and supervising field assignments including well and remedial system installation

  • Assist in the development of field work plans and be able to manage field work execution

  • Prepare air and discharge to groundwater permit applications

  • Author technical reports documenting field activities

  • Problem-solve and develop alternative approaches to overcome challenges

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Construction Management, Geology, or Engineering, required

  • At least three years of related experience required

  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable

​

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
