Job Summary
Recent and future engineering grads, we are searching for you! Join our team for the summer and learn about the exciting world of environmental remediation. You'll find practical applications for your developing skills in AutoCAD, sample testing and analysis, technical writing, permit preparation/compliance, and more.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
-
Support senior engineers and project managers as they scope, cost, plan, and execute remediation projects,
-
Learn about GEO's in-situ remedial technologies (C3 and GTR (Gas Thermal Remediation))
-
Support field work activities, i.e., planning field work, write work plans, etc.

Interpret geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from contaminated sites
-
Assist in designing in-situ thermal remediation systems, including 
developing rationale and cost estimates

Prepare air and discharge to groundwater permit applications
-
Draft technical reports document field activities
-
Problem-solve and develop alternative approaches to overcome challenges

Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Construction Management, Geology, or Engineering, in progress or recently completed

Physical Requirements
-
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
